Booking rules for the ESIK playrights

On this page you will find short general booking rules for the ESIK play-right system. For any details about each golf club that we offer in the system we kindly ask you to look at the Swedish page or contact any member of the steering board. It's very important that everybody follow the rules and routines exactly. All of us have to take equal responsibility for these rules. The administration of the play-rights is totally done on a voluntary basis. We don't have any controlling administrator so if anybody sees any violation (or error), please note the persons involved and inform the section leaders.

Quick "how to"-guide

Always start with booking a play-right at the ESIK web site for the course and date you want to play
Then call the golf club and make a tee time reservation. If you at the same time want to make reservations for more than one player, make sure to tell the golf club who is going to use the ESIK play-rights and who is going to pay their own green fee. Please observe that Golfstar have a on-line bookingsystem. More information about this follow below
All players should check in at the reception at the club at least 15 minutes before tee-off. Don't forget to provide a valid Golf-ID. As sponsor name, use ESIK Golfsection. The golf clubs have list with all persons entitled to use our play-rights and will check your authority.

Please observe that it is up to the individual making the booking on the web site to check the availability of tee-off times on the golf course (so it's not closed due to a competition etc.). This must be done in due time so that any cancellation of the play-right booking can be made within the stipulated time (3-day rule)

GolfStar booking:
        - GolfStar uses Sweetspot booking system which has no connection to ESIK web site. It's therefore possible to book more than the allowed playrights. ESIK would therefore periodically compare ESIK Golf and Sweetspot bookings.
          If violation of rules found you could be blocked from ESIK golf and Sweetspot booking system.
       - Any booking in Ericsson partner portal in Sweetspot would be counted towards our playrights. You can therefore not book tee-times in Sweetspot partner portal for persons playing on greenfee or GolfStar members.
        - Cancelation of playrights must be done in ESIK golf booking and Sweetspot partner portal

            Select weekday/weekend 2025 membership from menu
            Select course, day and time for booking

General booking rules:

Bookings

Only members of the golf section that have made the annual play-right payment can make reservations.
Max 4 bookings at the same time in the active two week booking period in the booking system, but only 2 in one day.
You are allowed to use 1 play-right for a friend playing at the same time as yourself.
Automatic reservations through a computer program are not permitted.
You can note a booking as open (noted with a # character). This means that you invite any other ESIK golfer to join you. The partner has to contact you for co-ordination of tee time. Take the chance to meet new friends
The same person who makes the internal web booking must also make the tee time booking.
If you want to play more than 18 holes the same day on the same club, you can't pre-book the second play-right. The reason is that no club will allow you to pre-book 2 different tee times on the same day.
If you play early in the morning outside the pre-booked tee-times (sk "Bollränna") you have to note your full namn, golf-id and "ESIK Playrights" when you register. If you do not do this the club is entitled to charge you full green-fee + a penalty fee in case you are checked in a control.

Cancellations

If you can't use a reserved play-right, please withdraw the booking as soon as possible so that someone else can use the play-right. Don't forget to cancel the tee-time at the golf club as well.
Cancellation has to be done, at the latest, 3 days before playing date - the 3-day rule! Otherwise the booking will count as a used booking. A booking made within 3 days from playing can be cancelled the same day as booked without being registered as used.
e.g. Saturday reservation need to be canceled on Wednesday in order not to be counted as used playright.

This rule in strictly enforced. Only one exception is made. If the golf club closes the course with short notice (for instance due to heavy raining) and announce this on the same day you were supposed to play it's possible to regain lost play-rights. But if you for instance don't want to use your play-right due to bad weather conditions or that the course is closed due to a pre announced event (e.g. competition) the day you were supposed to tee off, the play-right is still marked as used.

Misuse

We will take measures against any misuse of these rules! Your play-rights are personally and can't be used by someone else. You are not allowed to sell or lend your play-rights to anyone else if you are not playing yourself.
Abuse will lead to that you loose all your remaining play-right and risks suspension.

Miscellaneous

All work with the play-rights and the booking system is done on voluntary basis. During the last years the accessibility of the system have been very good. However we can not guarantee 100% uptime for the booking system. There are several factors outside of our control e.g. Ericsson internal network, web-servers etc.
Fees paid for play-rights are not refundable. The money is used to pay for the play-rights at each golf club. This is done on a group basis. We can not regain any payment from the clubs and consequently can't repay our members on an individual basis.
The play-right system is entered on an annual basis. Play-rights not used at the end of the year are lost and can not be transferred to the next year.
For the pleasure and happiness of all golfers, please respect the above listed rules. Abuse or bad practice will lead to suspension. This is a good feature. Take care of it!
